1 // V8 Engines
Ford’s 5.4L V8 and Holden 5.7L V8 engines provide the power to propel our V8s to 200kph and offer plenty of tractible horsepower. Fuel injected with performance exhaust and inlet mods the whole drive train mirrors the popular V8 racing ute technical rules. Passing the power to the gearbox is a high performance Extreme Clutch and our limited slip diff have been modified to help put all the power to the ground.

2 // Body & Aero Kit
Both the Holden and Ford have been fitted with a NZV8 spec aero kit consisting of a full front splitter, side skirts and rear wing. Both cars have been race prepared and have an extensive 6 point roll cage for both safety and to stiffen the chassis.

3 // Wheels & Tyres
These are sourced directly from the NZV8 teams and really add to the 'tough' look of the cars. Advanti 17 x 9 race spec wheels carry a Dunlop 17" racing slick to provide outstanding grip and feel.

4 // Suspension & Handling
Both the Ford and Holden have received upgrades of the dampers/springs, anti roll bars and essential suspension bushes. Adjustable D2 racing shocks and springs have been fitted to work with uprated front anti roll bars directly off a NZV8. Handling and roll has been greatly enhanced with the race mods.

5 // Brakes
The braking department has received a major overhaul to ensure safety and late braking go hand in hand. AP Rracing are world renowned for top quality equipment and there massive 6 pot calipers sit on a 380mm vented and slotted disc at the front and a 4 pot caliper on 340mm disc at the rear. The ABS has been retained and Padgid race pads do the stopping.

6 // Safety
Our V8s are built with safety an absolute priorty and have been built in accordance with Motorsport New Zealand Rules and carry MSNZ Logbook. Industry leading brands have been used to ensure maximum protection. Top quality English Corbeau Seats are installed and the drivers seats have the latest head restraint ‘wings’. German 6 point Schroth cam lock seat belts hold you firmly in the seat while an OMP removal steering wheel and Race Technology electronic dash complete the cockpit. Also fitted is an MSNZ approved fire extinguisher and kill switch.
